Hummus Dip

Here’s the perfect dip for those unexpected guests. Just 10 minutes and four ingredients are all you need to whip up an appetizer that’s guaranteed to please.


1 lemon
1 container (8 ounces) plain hummus
1 tsp. sesame seed
1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Pepperidge Farm® Baked Naturals® Wheat Crisps Toasted Wheat


Grate 1/2 teaspoon zest from the lemon.

For an Italian twist, omit the sesame seeds. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the hummus mixture. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or parsley.

For a Mexican twist, omit the sesame seeds. Substitute lime zest for the lemon zest, chopped fresh cilantro for the parsley and stir in a dash of hot pepper sauce.

Stir the hummus, sesame seeds, parsley and lemon zest in a small bowl.  Serve with the wheat crisps for dipping.
