Yellow School Bus Cookies

Shortbread cookies get dressed up with yellow frosting and candy decorations to create these sweet treats that are fun to make as well as eat!

ingredients

yellow food coloring
1/2 cup prepared white frosting
1 pkg. (6 oz.) Pepperidge Farm® <i>Milano</i>® Cookies, any flavor
Black decorating gel
Assorted candies: gumdrops, strawberry twists, rolled fruit leather, candy-coated fruit-flavored pieces, candy-coated chocolate candies OR fruit jellies

directions

STIR food color into frosting to make bright yellow. Spread frosting on cookies.

DECORATE with black gel to resemble school buses, adding bits of candy for windows and wheels (see photo for ideas.) Makes 15.

TIP: Cookies are best eaten on the same day as they are prepared.
